ORLANDO, Fla. — Nearly 1,000 students from Howard Middle School joined WWE Executive Vice President of Creative Stephanie McMahon, World Heavyweight Champion Big Show and former Divas Champions Alicia Fox and Layla at a be a STAR anti-bullying rally Thursday afternoon.
After a warm welcome by Principal Dr. Carl Cartwright, Orlando School Board Member Nancy Robbinson and City of Orlando Commissioner Patty Sheehan, McMahon and the Superstars and Divas shared their personal stories about bullying. They encouraged the sixth, seventh and eighth graders to be a STAR by standing up to bullies and telling a parent, teacher or guardian when they’re having issues with bullies. The World’s Largest Athlete, Big Show, also led the students in a rousing rendition of the “be a STAR chant.”
